Dark World

Dark World is a platformer with an escape at the end of it: complete thirty unique levels and you are out. What lifts it above a straight run is the design promise the game makes explicitly — there is always an easier way to reach the end of a level, and checking all the platforms for useful items is how you find it. So each stage has both a difficult direct route and something better for players who look. You have two kinds of attack, a sword swing at close range and a thrown sword for distance, and three enemy types that each attack differently, so choosing the right one matters. It is optimised for mobile browsers and localised into twenty languages.
