About DuaLight A Reflected Game

DuaLight is a 2D pixel-art platformer built on one very good idea: the true path lies in the reflection. Platforms in the real world above cannot be seen at all — they exist only in the mirrored image below the screen, so the entire game is played by watching the bottom half while your character moves through the top. That inversion takes a few seconds to get used to and then becomes genuinely absorbing, because your instinct keeps dragging your eyes to the wrong place. Spikes and other hazards are in there too, which means misreading the reflection has consequences. It is deliberately minimalist and deliberately short, and it does not outstay the idea it is built on.

How to Play

Move with the WASD keys or the arrow keys. Press W, the up arrow or the spacebar to jump. Press P to return to the menu. Watch the reflection below the screen rather than the world above it — that is the only place the platforms you need are visible.

Tips & Tricks

Train yourself to look only at the reflection; splitting attention between both halves is what causes most falls. Move in short bursts and stop to re-read the reflection rather than running through a section. Remember that a hazard in the reflection is a hazard in the real world, in the mirrored position.
