Jump Masters

Jump Masters is built entirely around going up. Fifty levels of increasing difficulty ask you to climb by landing on platforms, and the whole world changes with your altitude — you start in a sunny spring meadow, rise through summer heat, drift into autumn leaves and finish among the icy challenges at the highest peaks. The seasonal shift is not only decoration; it marks how far you have come in a genre that otherwise gives you very little sense of progress. Two things end a climb: falling off the bottom of the screen, and touching a red danger platform. Both are avoidable, which is what makes the difficulty feel like something you can work at.
