Shadow Ninja combines ancient ninjas with modern city settings and builds its combat around charging. Rather than trading rapid hits, you accumulate power and release it, which means kills happen in seconds when timed well and not at all when rushed. The weapon variety is where it gets its personality: swords, flame knives, ice swords and battle axes are all in there, more powerful options unlock as the game deepens, and the roster stretches far enough that you can take on enemies with a fly swatter if you want to. That range keeps a simple combat loop entertaining well past the point a single weapon would have worn thin.
