Zombie City Polygon Survival takes a familiar premise and gives it a distinctive look. The city is overrun and rendered in a minimalist polygonal style, which keeps a crowded screen legible in a way more detailed graphics often do not — you can read where a horde is and where the gaps are at a glance. Armed with guns, you survive waves of relentless enemies and clear each area in turn, so there is a sense of taking ground rather than simply holding it. The game asks for tactical strategy alongside quick reflexes, which in practice means choosing which part of an area to fight in rather than reacting wherever you happen to be standing.
