About Maze Speed

Maze Speedrunner, from developer Ravalmatic, does something clever with maze scoring. You are on a time trial to find the way out, but the scoring is directional: each pixel travelled toward the maze exit adds to your score, and each time you have to unravel your path and go back, your score decreases. That single rule changes how you play a maze entirely — a wrong turn is not just lost time, it is lost points, so the incentive is to be certain before committing rather than to explore quickly. Score and time bonuses are placed around the maze for players confident enough to detour, and the obstacles give the route more to think about than junctions alone.

How to Play

Tap or click to move your character around the maze. Find the right path to the exit before the time runs out, moving past the obstacles in the way. Every pixel travelled toward the exit adds to your score, while retracing your steps reduces it, and there are score and time bonuses placed around the maze.

Tips & Tricks

Pause at a junction and read ahead rather than guessing, because a wrong turn costs twice — once going and once coming back. Take bonuses only when they lie in the direction you were already heading. Commit fully once you have chosen; hesitating mid-corridor wastes the clock without moving the score.
