About The Cave Escape

The Cave Escape states its rules plainly and then makes you work for them. You explore a dark and complex cave from a third-person perspective, navigating obstacles and traps while using your intelligence to solve the puzzles that gate each level. The unusual detail is the direction of travel: your goal is to reach the depths of the cave and uncover the secrets hidden there, so progress means going further in rather than fighting your way out. That inverts the usual escape structure and gives the descent a pull to it. Jumping and sliding are both available, which means traps are meant to be passed through with movement rather than only avoided by routing around.

How to Play

On PC, move with the W, A, S and D keys and use the mouse to look around. On mobile, use the on-screen controls to move, jump and slide past the obstacles and traps. Explore the cave in third person, solve the puzzles blocking each level, and press on toward the depths.

Tips & Tricks

Use the slide for low hazards rather than trying to jump everything — the two moves exist because both are needed. Look around fully before advancing in the dark; the camera is your main defence against walking into a trap. Solve the puzzle before attempting the traps around it.
